HOT FLASH chronicles the history of the band as told through new interviews with Gaye, Ann and Andra as well as their families, Bruce Iglauer of Alligator Records, music critics and historians. Also included are old photos, press clippings and TV appearances pulled from the band's personal collection. The film features new performances of the band singing some of their most requested songs, played live at the historic Ram's Head and Wolf Trap theaters.
